So glad this little gem has found some loving new Tennants! A warm welcome and delicious food in an idealic village, what more could you ask for? Our new favourite in the valley without a doubt!
“Simply the best! We’ve visited and eaten here 4 times now. Perfect! Location, parking, building, atmosphere, log fire, beer and best of all food. Add to that reasonable prices and friendly attentive service I’m not aware of any traditional pubs offering what these guys do locally. I wish them success as they bought the pub in March 2020 straight into 3 months Covid lockdown and again in October. Not to be deterred we had the best Christmas Lunch ever. Thanks guys, superb!’

Stopped here on the way back from Cornwall and was delighted. A great traditional pub with a fantastic food and drink menu. Massive portions. My wife and daughter both had the cream teas which they loved but couldn't finish despite they're best efforts.
